Since my earliest recollections I have been fascinated with designs and details. Buildings, bridges, houses, cars, even toys all caught my attention to the why's and how's of architectural and industrial design. I was captivated on how things worked and why certain materials or architectural styles might have been chosen to carry out the designer's intended vision.

The groundwork for my craft, oddly, began in my youth by constructing scale models of racecars and trains. They HAD to look real. No detail was overlooked, nuts and bolts were painted on, trains and buildings were aged to looked more realistic, I even painted the faces and clothing on the scale-sized people. As I matured, I gravitated to the beauty and versatility of wood as a construction and artistic medium. In many an opinion, wood is still unmatched in providing a comforting and pleasing feel.

I take great pride designing and constructing items of beauty and function, paying particular attention to the selection of wood and the fit, feel and finish of my completed work. It is precisely what makes the difference in choosing fine, handcrafted work over mass-produced items. "Quality is a better bargain".

I am continually inspired to create new and unique designs and themes, utilizing beautiful woods and quality, long lasting construction methods.
