 This has been the center piece at my shows, a striking combination of beautiful woods and clean lines make it a favorite.

Constructed of highly figured curly maple and walnut, the corner joints are spline mitered with contrasting walnut, the bottom cross piece is a sliding dovetail joint, while the entire assembly is mortised into the base. It is then finished with several coats of laquer, then hand rubbed to a soft satin sheen.

Cherry with kingwood pulls, drawer dividers are a sliding dovetail joint. Finished with multiple coats of danish oil.

 Constellation Jewelry Box
 
As explained on the Constellation page, these boxes feature highly figured curly maple and walnut with inlaid brass that matches the Constellation's star pattern, making for a subtle yet unique way to personalized the box. You can even combine Constellations patterns.

The whale tail box is made from curly maple, dyed blue like deep the oceans, the tail handle is fashioned from solid ebony.
